Explore Impressionist masterpieces on a 2-hour Paris Orsay Museum tour with an expert guide and a small group of up to six guests.

About this tour

Step inside a grand former railway station and trace the colors, ideas, and artistic upheaval that transformed 19th-century painting. On this 2-hour Paris Orsay Museum Small-Group Tour, an expert guide leads a group of up to six guests through the museum’s celebrated collection.

Explore Western art from 1848 to 1914, with a special focus on Impressionism. Admire works by Gustave Courbet, Gustave Caillebotte, Paul Gauguin, Paul Cézanne, Édouard Manet, Claude Monet, and Vincent van Gogh as your guide shares the stories behind the artists and the revolution they helped launch in Paris. All entrance fees are included, and after the guided visit you can spend more time exploring the museum at your own pace. Temporary and special exhibitions are not included.

Meet your guide outside the museum at the foot of the Elephant Statue, near Solférino Metro and Musée d'Orsay RER C stations. Choose this Paris Orsay Museum Small-Group Tour for a more personal introduction to one of the city’s essential art collections.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
