Explore Paris on a private walking tour tailored to your interests, with a local host, insider tips, and a flexible route through the city.

About this tour

See Paris through the eyes of a local on a private walking tour shaped around what you love. From grand landmarks and elegant boulevards to lively neighborhoods and tucked-away corners, this Paris Private Walking Tour gives you room to follow your curiosity rather than a fixed route.

Before your visit, share your interests, preferences, and must-sees in a short online questionnaire. Your host will then reach out to plan a personalized half-day experience, whether you are drawn to history, food, architecture, culture, or hidden gems. As you explore, hear personal insights, get insider tips, and discover both iconic sights and lesser-known areas that reveal the city’s everyday character. You can choose your preferred duration and start time when booking.

The experience is primarily on foot, with a meeting at your central accommodation or a central landmark. Public transportation or local taxis may be used between sites at additional cost; a private vehicle is not provided. Choose a Paris Private Walking Tour that fits your interests, and let a local host help you make the city your own.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.68 from 25 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.7.
