About this tour
Discover Paris beyond its famous facades on a private walking tour through the city center. With a local guide, explore more than 25 major sights, pairing celebrated landmarks with tucked-away corners and stories many visitors miss. Historic visuals and vintage photographs add another layer to the walk, while tales of royal scandals, architectural rivalries, fashion, and curious mysteries make the city’s past feel close at hand.
This is an outdoor experience, so you’ll admire museums and monuments from outside rather than entering them. Along the way, your guide connects the places you see to the larger story of Paris, sharing local perspective and practical tips for cafés, restaurants, and neighborhoods. Because the tour is private, the experience is just for your group, with personalized recommendations to help you keep exploring after the walk.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3. Top 35% in Paris means it ranks in the top 35% of tours in Paris by this score.
