Explore the Tuileries Garden’s royal past on an English audio walk you can start, pause, and enjoy at your own pace.
About this tour
Step into the royal history of the Tuileries Garden on a self-guided walk through one of Paris’s most storied green spaces. This Paris Tuileries Garden Self-Guided Audio Tour follows the garden’s origins, when kings and queens stayed at the now-vanished Tuileries Palace.
Listen to travel guide author Gary Kraut as GPS-triggered audio and turn-by-turn directions lead you along the route. The walk takes about an hour, but you control the pace: pause at a favorite view, restart whenever you wish, or linger along the way. Download the audio, maps, and geodata for offline use, and try the virtual tour option from home. The app provides directions to the starting point after you enter the code from your confirmation ticket.
Bring your own smartphone and headphones; food, transportation, and attraction admission are not included. Set out when it suits you and discover the Tuileries Garden with the freedom to make the walk your own.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
