Explore the Musée de l’Armée on a 2-hour Paris guided tour, with skip-the-line access and stories of France’s World War history.

About this tour

Explore the Musée de l’Armée on a 2-hour Paris War Museum guided tour, where artifacts, videos, and displays bring the World Wars into focus. With skip-the-line access and a guide dedicated to your private group, you can spend your visit following the stories behind the collections rather than navigating the museum alone.

Your guide leads you through the museum’s halls devoted to the World Wars, sharing key events and explaining France’s place in the conflicts and their effects on French people. Entrance fees are included. The Invalides dome and museum can occasionally close without notice, and some rooms require quiet or limit speaking; your guide will brief you before entering those spaces. Collections may also change during the year.

Meet outside the main gate on Place des Invalides, facing Alexandre III Bridge. Choose the private option if you need wheelchair-friendly access; that feature is not available with the semi-private option. Book your Paris War Museum guided tour to discover the stories behind the displays with an expert guide.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 13 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.8. Top 16% in Paris means it ranks in the top 16% of tours in Paris by this score.
