Glide through the Versailles estate on a guided Segway tour, with photo stops and stories about the Castle, Grand Canal, and Grand Trianon.

About this tour

Explore the vast grounds on a Versailles Segway tour, gliding along leafy paths through the park of the Château de Versailles. After a safety briefing and time to learn how to ride, follow your guide across the estate, with planned stops to take photos and hear stories about the Castle, the Grand Canal, and the Grand Trianon.

A Segway makes it easier to cover more of the expansive park without tiring yourself out, while the relaxed pace leaves room to enjoy the scenery and ask questions. Meet your guide outside the Porte de la Reine, where the Segways will be waiting. The tour lasts 120 minutes and includes a helmet and hair net. Palace and Gardens entry are not included, and the experience does not visit the Palace interior or Gardens.

Choose this Versailles Segway tour for a fresh perspective on the estate’s open-air landmarks and winding paths.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.96 from 25 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.9. Top 13% in Paris means it ranks in the top 13% of tours in Paris by this score.
