Take on Reno’s Moonshot Hoax Escape Room, solving puzzles and uncovering clues in a themed 60-minute mission with a game master.

About this tour

Enter a secret CIA studio in Reno and take on a mission built around one of history’s most famous mysteries. In the Moonshot Hoax Escape Room, your team has 60 minutes to fake the 1969 moon landing by solving intricate puzzles and uncovering hidden clues.

Work together as the clock ticks down, searching the themed setting for details that move the story forward. Realistic props and sound effects help bring the scenario to life, while a dedicated game master can offer hints and clues throughout the experience if your team needs a nudge. The room is wheelchair accessible, and the venue welcomes visitors of all physical fitness levels.

Reno’s Moonshot Hoax Escape Room is located in Suite #1274F at the Reno Costco shopping center, between Capriotti’s and Hype Tea, near the airport. Gather your crew, put your problem-solving skills to work, and see if you can complete the mission before time runs out.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
