Explore Assisi’s basilicas, stone streets, and hilltop views on a private driver-only tour, with time to sightsee at your own pace.

About this tour

Discover Assisi, the medieval hill town closely linked to Saint Francis and Saint Clare. Set on the slopes of Mount Subasio, it looks out over the Umbrian countryside, with pale pink and gray stone streets, imposing basilicas, and a fortress rising above the rooftops.

Travel in a private, air-conditioned Mercedes-Benz with an English-speaking professional chauffeur. Once in Assisi, explore at your own pace: visit the town’s landmarks, admire its architecture, and enjoy the views. This is a driver-only experience, not a guided tour. The chauffeur remains with the vehicle while you sightsee independently, and entry tickets, lunch, and a walking guide are not included.

Choose this Assisi Saints’ Footsteps tour for the freedom to shape your own visit, with bottled water and a private ride for the journey. Make time for the places that interest you most and experience Assisi at your own pace.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
