Meet the winemaker, explore Antico Casale’s vineyard and cellars, and taste three Frascati wines with Italian specialties and seasonal produce.

About this tour

Discover the wines and flavors of Frascati on a private tasting experience at Antico Casale. Meet the winemaker, then explore the vineyard and cellars to learn how the wines are made. You may even get to sample a grape straight from the vine.

After the tour, settle in for a tasting of three wines produced at the estate: a white Frascati DOCG, a red wine with IGP designation, and sweet Cannellino. Each glass comes with an Italian specialty, such as Roman pizza or olive oil, alongside seasonal fruits and vegetables from the garden. Vegetarian and vegan menu options are available, making this a welcoming way to enjoy the region’s wine culture.

Private transportation and an air-conditioned vehicle are included. Spend an unhurried few hours meeting the people behind the wines and savoring local pairings. Book this Frascati wine tasting experience for a flavorful introduction to the vineyards and traditions just outside Rome.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 48% in Rome means it ranks in the top 48% of tours in Rome by this score.
