About this tour
Ride beyond Rome’s busy streets and into a landscape where ancient engineering and open countryside meet. This Rome Appian Way Aqueducts E-Bike Tour follows the Appian Way Regional Park, a historic green corridor filled with monuments and traces of the Roman world.
Set out on a high-quality e-bike along the route, passing tombs, statues, imperial villas, and the sweeping arches of the Aqueducts Park, where six ancient Roman aqueducts converge. The ride crosses a landscape shaped over more than 2,300 years, bringing the city’s history into view at an easy-to-appreciate pace. Choose the 5-hour option to add a guided visit to the Catacombs of San Callisto, plus a traditional Roman lunch on a morning departure or an aperitif in the afternoon. These extras are not included with the 4-hour option.
The Rome Appian Way Aqueducts E-Bike Tour starts at Roma STARBIKE, near the Colosseo Metro station. Come ready to ride, and discover a quieter, greener side of Rome on two wheels.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.85 from 1,180 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.6. Top 21% in Rome means it ranks in the top 21% of tours in Rome by this score.
