Explore the Colosseum with a licensed guide, small-group storytelling, and access to its historic Arena Floor on this two-hour Rome tour.
About this tour
Explore the Colosseum’s storied past on a two-hour Rome Colosseum Arena Small Group Express Tour, designed for travelers who want to see the highlights without giving up a full day. With a group capped at 10, you can follow your licensed English-speaking guide through the ancient amphitheater and hear about the gladiators who once faced the crowds.
The standout moment is access to the Arena Floor, where you can take in the scale of the Colosseum from the ground where the action unfolded. The tour also visits the Arch of Constantine. Your ticket includes entry to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, though those sites are not part of a guided tour. Meet inside Oppio Park, next to the Colosseum, by the blue Tour The Best flag; the Colosseo metro station is a short walk away.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 1.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
