About this tour

Explore ancient Rome on a self-guided visit to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. This Rome Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum ticket pairs access to landmark ruins with an audio guide app, so you can take in the stories and scenery at your own pace rather than follow an in-person group.

Choose from ticket options with different access. Depending on your selection, you may visit the Colosseum’s first and second levels, the Arena Floor, the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, or designated SUPER sites. Some options exclude the Colosseum or its upper levels, so check the access details before booking. The app works on Android and iOS and offers audio commentary in 7+ languages, plus interactive navigation and real-time location tracking across the archaeological park. The visit takes approximately 3–4 hours, and the order of entry may vary; follow the official itinerary and entry details sent by Golden Ticket.

Bring valid ID that matches each nominative ticket, and reserve a free pass for every child aged 0–17. Once your option is confirmed, let the Rome Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum ticket guide your own journey through the city’s ancient heart.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.09 from 74 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 4.9.
