Explore the Colosseum Arena, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill with entry assistance and an audio guide app for the Colosseum.

About this tour

Walk into the heart of ancient Rome with Arena access at the Colosseum, then continue to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. This visit brings three landmark archaeological sites together, with a local representative on hand to assist with entry procedures and practical details.

After entering, use the audio guide app to hear historical context and commentary about the Colosseum. The app requires an internet connection, and you’ll need to bring your own headphones. Your admission includes access to the Colosseum Arena, the Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill; transportation and a live guide are not included. Security checks still apply, so allow time for the queue.

Meet at the Arch of Constantine, directly in front of the Colosseum, and arrive at the entrance 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Bring valid photo ID or a passport that matches the name on your booking. Discover Rome’s ancient sites at your own pace with this Colosseum tour with Arena access.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.84 from 691 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 2.6.
