Explore Rome’s landmarks and hidden corners on a three-hour golf cart tour with a local expert guide and a group of up to six.

About this tour

See Rome’s grand landmarks and quieter corners on a three-hour ride through the Eternal City. With a local expert at the wheel, this golf cart tour covers more ground than a walking route while bringing the city’s history and character into view.

Pass celebrated sights including the Colosseum, Aventine Hill, the Pantheon, the Mouth of Truth, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Venezia, and Trevi Fountain. Along the way, hear stories spanning Rome’s past from ancient times to the 20th century, and take in piazzas, monuments, and lesser-known treasures. Choose a semi-private group capped at six guests or opt for a private tour.

A Rome Golf Cart Tour offers a useful overview whether you’re visiting briefly or want ideas for places to explore more deeply later. Meet your guide in front of Palazzo Naiadi in Piazza della Repubblica, then settle in for a lively introduction to the city. Book your Rome Golf Cart Tour and discover the sights at an easy pace.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.98 from 2,878 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.7. Top 1% in Rome means it ranks in the top 1% of tours in Rome by this score.
