Explore Rome by private golf cart, customize your route, and choose an English-speaking driver or a licensed guide for added insight.

About this tour

See Rome from the open-air comfort of a private golf cart, with the freedom to pause at sites along the way. This customizable Rome Golf Cart Tour offers an easy way to cover more ground while taking in the city’s historic streets and landmarks.

Choose an English-speaking driver, who can share brief background on the places you visit, or opt for a licensed guide for deeper historical, artistic, and cultural context. The tour includes multiple stops, giving you time to explore. Your driver stays with the cart and does not accompany you inside attractions; a licensed guide can join you inside when selected. Hotel, Airbnb, or train station pickup and drop-off are available.

Admission tickets are not included. The provider can arrange Colosseum tickets for €40 per person and Pantheon tickets for €7 per person, subject to availability. Colosseum tickets may sell out, so availability is confirmed after booking. Choose the Rome Golf Cart Tour for a flexible, private introduction to the Eternal City.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 7 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 24% in Rome means it ranks in the top 24% of tours in Rome by this score.
