Take in Rome’s landmarks from a panoramic open-top bus, hopping off to explore at your own pace with a 24-hour ticket.

About this tour

See Rome from the open top of a sightseeing bus, with the freedom to hop off and explore at your own pace. This 24-hour Rome Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Bus Tour pairs panoramic views with onboard commentary about the city’s history, buildings, and landmarks.

Look out for Piazza Venezia and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, pause at the Spanish Steps, or toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain. Choose the stops that interest you and take your time discovering the city rather than rushing from sight to sight. Onboard Wi-Fi lets you share photos as you travel, while the bus offers a comfortable way to take in Rome between walks and visits. Commentary language details vary in the listing, so check availability before boarding.

Your ticket does not include attraction entry, guided visits, food, or hotel transfers. Download your emailed voucher and have its barcode ready to scan on a GREEN LINE TOUR bus. Traffic can affect journey times, especially later in the day. Set out with water and sun protection in summer, then make this Rome Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Bus Tour your flexible starting point for exploring the Eternal City.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.41 from 124 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 3.9.
