Explore Italy’s cities, vineyards, and landmarks on a private seven-day trip from Rome, with hotel stays and skip-the-line tickets included.

About this tour

See Italy’s celebrated cities, art, and landscapes on a private seven-day journey that begins and ends in Rome. With transport and six overnight stays arranged, you can focus on the experience rather than the logistics.

Travel through Tuscany, Veneto, and Campania, passing medieval towns, vineyards, and olive groves along the way. The itinerary brings together time in Florence, Venice, Montalcino, Rome, and Pompeii, with opportunities to explore at your own pace. Skip-the-line tickets are included for the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel in Rome and St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice. An air-conditioned vehicle and professional English-speaking driver accompany your journey, while dedicated licensed guides in visited cities can be added for an extra cost. Dinner is included, and airport transfers connect Rome Airport with your Rome hotel.

Make the most of a week in Italy with a private trip that balances landmark visits and time to discover each destination. Choose the local-guide upgrade if you’d like added insight along the way.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
