About this tour

See Rome glow after dark on a private golf cart ride through the historic center. This 3-hour Rome Night Tour by Golf Cart pairs illuminated landmarks with the stories and local insights of an English-speaking driver-guide, while keeping walking to a minimum.

The route can be tailored to your pace and preferences, with possible stops at the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, St. Peter’s Square, and panoramic Gianicolo Hill. Take time for photos or pause for an Italian gelato or coffee as the city’s fountains and piazzas come alive in the evening. Monument visits are exterior only; entry is not included.

Private transportation, bottled water, and snacks are provided. Meet your driver-guide in front of Bar Peru in Piazza di Santa Caterina della Rota and look for the GalloTour logo. Discover Rome Night Tour by Golf Cart for an easygoing evening among the city’s most memorable sights.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.97 from 402 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.3. Top 2% in Rome means it ranks in the top 2% of tours in Rome by this score.
