About this tour

Walk through Rome’s historic center, where grand fountains, ancient columns, and lively piazzas reveal the city’s layered past. This guided Rome Pantheon and fountains walking tour begins in Piazza Navona, home to Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers, then continues to the Pantheon. With the relevant option, enter this ancient landmark and take in its vast dome. Pause in Piazza di Pietra to see the Temple of Hadrian’s columns before heading to Trevi Fountain, where selected options include access to the water level and time for photos. The route also takes in Piazza di Spagna, the Spanish Steps, and the Barcaccia Fountain.

Prefer an evening outing? Choose the sunset option for the same route, with the Pantheon viewed from outside and no Trevi Fountain entry tickets; the tour ends at Trinità dei Monti for sunset views. A professional guide and personal headsets help bring the sights and stories into focus. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.89 from 56 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.7. Top 18% in Rome means it ranks in the top 18% of tours in Rome by this score.
