Explore the Pantheon at your own pace with timed entry, and admire its vast dome, open Oculus, and luminous marble interior.

About this tour

Step into the Pantheon, one of Ancient Rome’s most remarkable landmarks, and take in nearly 2,000 years of history. This Rome Pantheon entry ticket gives you time to stand beneath the immense dome, look up through the open Oculus, and notice how light moves across the marble interior. With timed entry, you can explore at your own pace rather than follow a group or fixed route. Your ticket is sent through Viator Messages or WhatsApp before your selected entry time; head straight to the entrance once it arrives, with no ticket collection or meeting point required. Bring matching identification, keep your ticket or QR code handy, and dress with covered shoulders and knees, as the Pantheon remains an active place of worship. Security checks and short waits may occur during busy periods, so follow the time printed on your ticket. Make the Rome Pantheon visit a memorable pause in your city explorations, and discover the scale, light, and enduring ingenuity of this ancient masterpiece for yourself.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.34 from 389 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 4.1.
