Explore Rome’s landmarks and hidden corners on a private golf cart tour, with a guide leading the way through the historic district.

About this tour

See more of the Eternal City without spending the day on foot. This private Rome golf cart tour pairs easygoing travel with a guide who brings the city’s landmarks and lesser-known corners into view.

Ride through the historic district to sights including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and Piazza Venezia. The route also reaches the Aventine and Celio hills, where you can uncover quieter views and hidden gems, and includes a stop to see Michelangelo’s sculpture of Moses. A golf cart makes it easier to cover more ground while taking in Rome’s streets and architecture, rain or shine.

Your tour includes a driver-guide. Meet in front of Caffe Roma near the Colosseum metro entrance, on the second level, and look for the representative holding a Travcus sign. Arrive 15 minutes early. Choose this Rome private golf cart tour for a relaxed way to discover the city’s celebrated sights and tucked-away treasures.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 8 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 22% in Rome means it ranks in the top 22% of tours in Rome by this score.
