Explore Rome’s landmarks and hidden corners on a private, customizable golf cart tour with a local host and hotel pickup.

About this tour

See Rome from the open air on a private golf cart tour that pairs famous landmarks with quieter corners buses can’t reach. With a dedicated local host and no other guests, you can explore at your own pace and focus on what interests your group most.

Your host picks you up at your hotel anywhere in Rome’s historic center, then helps shape a route around your interests, whether you’re drawn to history, food, photography, or family-friendly discoveries. Along the way, take in major highlights, uncover hidden details, and hear local stories and tips. The silent, zero-emission electric vehicle makes it easy to move through the city while enjoying an open-air view. Monument entrance fees are not included.

A Rome private golf cart tour offers a personal way to connect the city’s celebrated sights with its lesser-known places. Choose the themes that matter to you and enjoy a flexible three-hour outing with a local host. Book your Rome private golf cart tour and discover the city on your terms.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.96 from 51 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.3. Top 9% in Rome means it ranks in the top 9% of tours in Rome by this score.
