See Rome’s iconic sights with a private driver-guide, then travel with your luggage directly to Civitavecchia port.

About this tour

Make the hours before your cruise count with a private Rome sightseeing tour that ends at Civitavecchia port. A personal driver-guide picks you up at your hotel and takes you through the city in an air-conditioned car, with time to admire landmarks such as the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. You can customize the tour, and refreshments along the way are at your own expense.

After exploring, continue by car to the cruise port, with your luggage traveling along with you. The experience lasts 190 minutes and combines sightseeing with a direct port drop-off, so you can enjoy Rome without arranging separate transport for yourself and your bags. The driver can assist with luggage, and each passenger may bring one checked bag and one carry-on at no extra cost; excess luggage charges may apply.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.80 from 15 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1.
