Rome Squares and Fountains Walking Tour

See Rome’s Baroque and Renaissance landmarks on a guided walk that pairs celebrated fountains and grand piazzas with quieter lanes. Begin at Trinità dei Monti above the Spanish Steps, where the city opens out beneath you, then head into the historic center with an art historian as your guide.

Pause at the Trevi Fountain, continue to the Pantheon, and explore Piazza Navona, home to Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers and Borromini’s church of Sant’Agnese. There’s time to taste Roman gelato before the route winds through hidden alleys toward Ponte Sant’Angelo and views of Castel Sant’Angelo. The walk ends with a striking view of St. Peter’s Basilica, near a hop-on, hop-off bus stop and the Tiber River cruise boarding point. Headsets help guests hear the guide clearly in groups of more than eight.

This Rome Squares and Fountains Walking Tour brings the city’s art, architecture, and street life together at an easy-to-follow pace. Join the walk ready to discover the stories behind Rome’s most memorable sights.
