Rome St. Peter’s Basilica Dome Tour with Elevator 2 hr 30 min

See Rome from above, then step into one of the world’s great churches on this self-guided St. Peter’s Basilica Dome tour. Meet the staff near the entrance borders of St. Peter’s Square, where they’ll provide your tickets and help set up the digital audio guide. From there, use the elevator for access toward the dome and take in panoramic views across the Eternal City. Up close, admire the mosaics inside Michelangelo’s celebrated dome before continuing into St. Peter’s Basilica. Explore the vast interior at your own pace with the audio guide, which you can download before your visit. Bring your own headphones and arrive 20 minutes early with physical passports. This Rome St. Peter’s Basilica Dome tour lasts 150 minutes and includes Basilica entry and a dome access ticket with elevator. It does not include an in-person guide, the Vatican Museums, or the Sistine Chapel. Make time for the views, the art, and the quiet details inside the Basilica on this independent visit.
