About this tour

Step beneath one of Rome’s most famous landmarks and discover a quieter, hidden layer of the city. This 60-minute Trevi Fountain Underground Guided Tour pairs the fountain’s familiar beauty with a glimpse of the history and stories below street level.

Follow a live English-speaking guide through the underground site, with radio headsets to help you catch the commentary along the way. The experience offers a fresh perspective on Rome, connecting a celebrated attraction with the city’s less-seen past. Entrance tickets are included, and the meeting point is in front of the church. Infants and small children can come in a pram or stroller, and the tour is suitable for all physical fitness levels.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.91 from 11 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.5.
