Photograph Trullo’s colorful murals and poetry while discovering the neighborhood’s story on a guided 150-minute walk through Rome.
About this tour
Explore Trullo, a Rome neighborhood where vivid murals and poetry bring the streets to life. This 150-minute photo walk reveals how residents transformed their surroundings into an open-air gallery, creating striking scenes for photographers and curious visitors alike.
About 80 years ago, residents from the central Monti district moved to Trullo amid the demolition and construction of Via dei Fori Imperiali. As the neighborhood later faced decline, local painters and poets began revitalizing its building walls with paintings and verses, drawing internationally renowned artists into the project. Stroll through the colorful streets, admire the creative works, and hear the story behind this community-led transformation with an expert guide.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2. Top 40% in Rome means it ranks in the top 40% of tours in Rome by this score.
