Explore St. Peter’s Basilica with priority access, a digital audio guide, and time to admire the grandeur of Vatican City.

About this tour

Step into the grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica, a Renaissance masterpiece at the heart of Vatican City. With priority access, you can spend less time waiting and more time taking in the basilica’s soaring scale, celebrated artworks, and centuries of history. A digital audio guide offers context as you explore at your own pace.

Your visit lasts about 60 minutes. After exploring the basilica, continue into St. Peter’s Square, where Bernini’s monumental colonnades curve around the plaza and an ancient Egyptian obelisk marks its center. The ticket does not include access to the dome, and headsets for the audio guide are not provided.

Discover the artistry and atmosphere of Vatican City with this St. Peter’s Basilica priority-access ticket, and make time to appreciate one of Rome’s most remarkable landmarks.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
