About this tour
Discover Belize’s ancient history and wild landscapes on a full-day adventure that brings together Maya ruins, ziplines, and a cave journey. This Belize City cave kayaking tour pairs a visit to the pyramids of Altun Ha with the thrill of soaring along ziplines and exploring Belize’s caves by kayak or tube.
Travel between stops in an air-conditioned minivan, with a driver-guide and hotel or port pickup and drop-off. Kayaks or tubes, helmets, and lights are provided. For safety, the group switches to tubes if water levels or currents are too strong for kayaking. Pickup is offered for guests staying in Belize City, Caye Caulker, San Pedro, and San Ignacio; hotel pickups start at 8:00 am.
Bring bug spray, a towel, a change of clothing, and a waterproof camera, and wear swimwear with closed-toe shoes. How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 39 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Santa Barbara
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.5. Top 19% in Santa Barbara means it ranks in the top 19% of tours in Santa Barbara by this score.
