About this tour

Set out on a California road trip with five self-guided routes that bring the coast, mountains, and memorable local stops into view. This Central California GPS audio tour bundle includes the Pacific Coast Highway, 17-Mile Drive, Big Sur, Yosemite Valley, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, and San Luis Obispo.

Download the Tour Guide app by Action before you leave, then follow GPS directions as stories play automatically along the way. Start at the suggested Santa Monica point or join the route wherever it suits your plans. Stop for photos, hikes, picnics, or scenic overlooks, and pick up the commentary when you’re ready. The tours work offline after download, and one purchase covers everyone in your car. Connect to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, or your car stereo via Bluetooth to listen together.

There’s no live guide, fixed schedule, or expiry date, so you can explore at your own pace and revisit the tours on future trips. Entrance fees, parking, food, and car rental are separate. Download the app while connected, choose your route, and let this Central California GPS audio tour bundle add local stories to the drive.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
