About this tour
Explore Savannah’s Historic District on a self-guided walking tour through oak-lined squares, brick lanes, and streets shaped by centuries of history. With a downloaded audio guide and route map, you can set your own pace and let GPS-triggered narration reveal stories as you reach each location.
The route introduces Savannah’s distinctive 18th-century layout and historic architecture, with perspectives on the colony, the cotton era, and ongoing preservation. Along the way, hear how public spaces and beautiful homes reflect stories of resilience and change, and discover the connections between art, community, and the city’s past. The tour works offline once downloaded, so you can explore without cell service, and flexible access means you can begin whenever it suits you.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.33 from 6 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Savannah
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.7.
