Explore Savannah’s historic squares by open-air trolley, then cruise the river for waterfront views and stories of the city’s port.

About this tour

See Savannah from two classic vantage points on a combined trolley tour and riverboat cruise. Begin with a 75-minute ride aboard an open-air trolley, where an expert guide brings the city’s history to life with stories and local context. Pass Savannah’s graceful squares, historic River Street, and the lively City Market as the city unfolds around you.

Then take to the water for a 90-minute cruise aboard a Savannah Riverboat Cruises vessel. Hear the captain’s tales of the port and enjoy photo opportunities along the historic riverfront, with views of Savannah’s skyline. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase at the onboard Riverboat Snack Shop.

Your selected booking time is for the trolley tour. Cruise departures are at 1:00 p.m. from November through March, and at 1:00 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. from April through October; no cruise reservation is required. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.45 from 44 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Savannah
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 5.2.
