Ride into remote Motoqua on a private St. George Jeep tour, then hike through red-rock scenery and a winding slot canyon.

About this tour

Leave the crowds behind and ride into Motoqua, a remote corner of Southern Utah reached by off-road vehicle. This private St. George Jeep tour pairs a bumpy, scenic drive with a guided hike among the region’s striking red Navajo sandstone.

After the Jeep ride, follow your guide on a 2–3-mile hike through rugged terrain and a winding slot canyon. Along the way, learn about local geography and wildlife, and take in the sculpted rock formations up close. The route can be challenging, with boulder scrambling and, depending on the season, shallow water. Snacks are provided, and extra water is available, though hikers are encouraged to bring their own. You’re welcome to pack lunch or dinner, with a cooler available in each vehicle.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in St George

Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1.
