Choose your winery stops and sip local wines with a knowledgeable guide on this flexible, air-conditioned Traverse City wine tour.

About this tour

Explore Traverse City’s wine country with a local guide who knows the wineries, their stories, and the wines worth lingering over. This flexible Traverse City Wine Tour lets your group choose which wineries to visit, with recommendations and local history along the way.

Ride in an air-conditioned Cadillac Escalade, with a second GMC Yukon for groups over six. Your wine expert joins the group while a separate driver handles the road, so you can focus on tasting and conversation. Groups also receive a complimentary bottle of wine. Food, tasting flights, bottles, and glasses are available at extra cost, and a 20% gratuity is recommended.

Meet near the State Street entrance of the Hardy Street Parking Structure, beside Middlecoast Brewery. Depending on traffic and events, downtown hotel pickup may be possible. Gather your group, choose your winery stops, and make a day of discovering Traverse City wines with a local guide.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
