About this tour
Climb from Tucson into the cool, high-country scenery of the Mount Lemmon Scenic Byway, where saguaro-studded desert gives way to the dramatic landscapes of the Sky Islands. This self-guided Tucson Mount Lemmon driving audio tour pairs the open road with stories of the region’s people, history, and hidden corners.
Download the Tour Guide app by Action and the tour before you leave, then follow GPS-triggered audio along the route. Hear about the Tohono O’odham and the Catalina Federal Honor Camp as you take in the changing scenery. Stop whenever a viewpoint, hike, picnic, or photo calls; the flexible route lets you set the pace, and the audio works offline once downloaded. One purchase covers everyone in your car, and lifetime access means you can revisit the tour on future trips. You can listen through your car stereo, Apple CarPlay, or Android Auto.
The Tucson Mount Lemmon driving audio tour is a relaxed way to explore without a group or live guide. Check attraction hours and any ticket requirements before you go, then set out for a road trip shaped by your own curiosity.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.86 from 80 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Tucson
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 29% in Tucson means it ranks in the top 29% of tours in Tucson by this score.
