Explore Philadelphia’s historic landmarks and New York’s famous sights on a two-day tour with a hotel night and round-trip transport.

About this tour

See Philadelphia and New York City on a two-day journey from Washington, D.C., with a hotel night and round-trip transportation included. In Philadelphia, encounter landmarks tied to the nation’s founding, including the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Then head to New York for a guided look at the financial district, Wall Street, the Charging Bull, Rockefeller Center, and Times Square, followed by a night tour beneath the city’s glowing skyline.

The second day leaves time to explore at your own pace. Add optional visits to One World Observatory, a Statue of Liberty cruise, or the USS Intrepid aircraft-carrier museum, then see the Vessel and waterfront greenery at Little Island. A professional driver and guide or driver-guide helps connect the stops, while the included hotel stay makes this a convenient way to experience two major cities in one trip. Admission to select attractions depends on the price option chosen, and food and beverages are not included.

Choose this Philadelphia and New York City 2-Day Tour for a compact mix of American history, famous city sights, and time to explore. Confirm your pickup hotel and any attraction options when booking.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Washington DC
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2. Top 40% in Washington DC means it ranks in the top 40% of tours in Washington DC by this score.
