About this tour
Set out from Anchorage for a full day on Alaska’s snow-covered trails. This Anchorage Snowmobile Adventure with Hotel Pickup follows no fixed route: your guide selects from hundreds of miles of trails and adapts the pace and terrain to the group’s comfort level.
Before riding, get fitted with a helmet and check that your clothing and gear are suitable for the outing. Your guide then walks you through the snowmobile’s controls and features, making sure everyone feels comfortable before setting off. The route can weave across frozen lakes and open fields, through tundra, and along forest trails, many groomed for a more even ride. Keep an eye out for moose, coyotes, foxes, and bald or golden eagles along the way.
Transportation is provided, with pickup at Anchorage-area hotels and some BnBs; guests outside the pickup area can meet at Midtown Fred Meyer. Bottled water is included, while food is not, so bring what you’d like or buy snacks during a store stop. Choose this Anchorage Snowmobile Adventure for a flexible day exploring Alaska’s winter landscape with a guide.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Anchorage
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1.
