Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Private Guide Tour 3 hr

Get more from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with a private, guide-led visit shaped around your group. A National Park Certified Interpretive Guide helps make sense of the volcanic landscape and points out details you might miss on your own.

Travel by private Mercedes van between several stops, with time and walking pace tailored to your interests. Along the way, learn about volcanoes, native plants, wildlife, Hawaiian culture, and the forces that shaped the Big Island. Video footage of past eruptions adds context to the scenery outside. Bottled water and adult plastic ponchos are provided, and the experience is designed to make learning about the park accessible for families.

Your Hawaii Volcanoes National Park private guide tour lasts 180 minutes. The park entrance fee is separate: $30 per car, valid for seven days. Meet at the Visitor Center after passing the entrance booths and look for a Mercedes van marked Big Island VIP; the center is currently closed for remodeling but remains the recommended meeting point. Dress in layers and bring raincoats for changing mountain weather. Book your Hawaii Volcanoes National Park private guide tour and explore at your own pace.
