Catch a wave along the Kona Coast with a surf lesson shaped around your experience and the day’s conditions. This 90-minute Kona Surf Lesson pairs personalized instruction with access to beautiful, less-crowded surf spots.

Your instructor will guide you with safety and fun in mind, while sharing insights into Hawaiian culture, surfing traditions, and tides. A soft-top surfboard, leash, and rash guard are provided. The session is tailored to you, whether you’re building confidence in the water or working toward your next ride.

Plan to arrive about 10 minutes early. Park along the road or in the paid lot at Kahaluʻu Beach Park, then walk north past the lifeguard towers to the blue-and-white chapel, where you’ll find the surf entrance.
