Sail Charleston Harbor aboard a private 43-foot yacht, spotting dolphins and historic landmarks on a relaxed two-hour cruise.

About this tour

Set sail on Charleston Harbor aboard Mystique, a 43-foot yacht, and trade the busy waterfront for open water, historic landmarks, and the chance to spot bottlenose dolphins. This private two-hour cruise welcomes only your party on board, with a professional crew guiding the experience.

Departing from Safe Harbor City Marina, the route heads toward Fort Sumter or the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, passing the Battery and historic forts along the way. Keep watch for dolphins as the crew points them out and gets as close as possible for viewing. There’s shade on board, along with two bathrooms, bottled water, and soft drinks. The sail is suitable for guests of all fitness levels, and the yacht is wheelchair accessible.

This Charleston private sailing tour pairs harbor history with a relaxed search for wildlife. Follow the marina signs to the second dock on the left, then settle in and enjoy the views. Book your Charleston Harbor sail for a memorable outing on the water.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 87 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Charleston
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.0. Top 7% in Charleston means it ranks in the top 7% of tours in Charleston by this score.
