Cruise from Clearwater Bay into the Gulf of Mexico for sunset views, live commentary, and a champagne toast for guests 21 and older.

About this tour

As the sun sinks toward the Gulf, Clearwater’s waters turn golden and the shoreline takes on a softer glow. This two-hour Clearwater Sunset Celebration Cruise travels from Clearwater Bay through Clearwater Pass and out into the Gulf of Mexico, where you can watch for the legendary green flash.

Along the way, listen to live commentary about Gulf Coast natural wonders and notable sights. Dolphins are often spotted, though sightings are not guaranteed. Guests 21 and older can raise a complimentary champagne toast as the sky changes color. Food and drinks beyond the toast are not included; drink packages and light snacks are available to purchase on board.

The Clearwater Sunset Celebration Cruise departs from 25 Causeway Blvd, Slip #5, across from the Pier 60 parking lot. Check in 45 minutes before departure; boarding starts 15 minutes before the boat leaves, and late arrivals cannot be accommodated. Settle in for an evening on the water and take in the Gulf Coast at sunset.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.41 on Viator and 4.52 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Clearwater
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 4.3.
