Explore creekside trails, Starr Kempf’s kinetic sculptures, and Broadmoor’s historic homes on a guided Colorado Springs Segway tour.

About this tour

Trade city streets for creekside trails and historic lanes on a Colorado Springs Nature and Art/Broadmoor Segway Tour. With an expert guide leading the way, hear stories about the city’s history and colorful characters as you explore North Cheyenne Cañon Park and the Broadmoor area.

Follow South Cheyenne Creek to the Starsmore Discovery Center, a former private residence now serving as a park visitor center, then continue to the Cheyenne Cañon Inn. Meet the striking, wind-powered metal sculptures created by Starr Kempf and learn about the controversy surrounding the artist’s work. Ride an off-road-capable Segway X2 along nature trails beside the creek before shifting from natural scenery to the historic Broadmoor neighborhood.

See Penrose House and cruise past distinctive mansions, schools, and clubs near the Broadmoor Resort. The route also passes the Cheyenne Mountain Country Club and Pine Grove’s eclectic homes. A Segway, helmet, bottled water, and radio receiver with earbud are provided, so you can focus on the scenery and stories. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.88 from 9 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Colorado Springs
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 34% in Colorado Springs means it ranks in the top 34% of tours in Colorado Springs by this score.
