Learn scuba basics with an instructor, then breathe underwater and look for wildlife in Florida’s iconic Blue Spring State Park.
About this tour
Discover the feeling of breathing underwater on a guided Blue Spring State Park Try Scuba Experience. In this 60-minute introduction, a professional Florida Dive Company instructor helps you learn scuba basics, underwater breathing, communication, and essential skills before you enter the spring. No certification or previous scuba experience is needed, and all scuba equipment is provided.
Once underwater, take in Blue Spring from a fresh perspective and keep an eye out for turtles, gar, fish, manatees, and other wildlife. Every outing is different, and animal sightings are not guaranteed. A guaranteed entry reservation is included, but park admission is paid separately at the gate. Plan to arrive at the park one hour early and check in 30 minutes before your experience; find the ranger station, pick up a map, and follow the Dive Company signs to the Upper Day-Use Area.
Try scuba without committing to a certification course. Book your Blue Spring State Park Try Scuba Experience and see what lies beneath the spring’s surface.

How this score is calculated
This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.
How the score works
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
