About this tour

Cruise the Halifax River and watch for dolphins as Daytona Beach’s wildlife and history unfold along the shore. This 75-minute narrated Daytona Beach Wildlife Boat Tour pairs close-up nature watching with stories from a knowledgeable local guide.

As you travel the river, look for dolphins and learn about their behavior, habitats, and place in the local ecosystem. Your guide shares insights into the area’s diverse wildlife and plant life, along with stories about Daytona Beach and the county’s oldest drawbridge. The tour also draws on local knowledge and insights connected to the Hubbs Research Institute.

Bottled water and cooler space for personal beverages are available, and you may bring your own food and drinks. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.64 from 8 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Daytona Beach
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2. Top 50% in Daytona Beach means it ranks in the top 50% of tours in Daytona Beach by this score.
