Cruise Destin Harbor, Crab Island, and the Gulf while watching for wild dolphins from an open-air boat with an onboard bathroom.

About this tour

See Destin from the water on a 90-minute dolphin cruise with open-air views and an easy-to-navigate boat. Keep watch for wild dolphins as the crew guides you through Destin Harbor and the Destin Pass, past Crab Island, and toward the Gulf of Mexico.

Along the way, take in waterfront homes, popular dining spots, Destin’s historic fishing fleet, and the boardwalk. The stable boat offers room to move around and look over the side, while an onboard bathroom adds convenience. A hands-on crew keeps the trip engaging as the scenery changes from harbor landmarks to coastal waters.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.86 on Viator and 4.76 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Destin
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.1. Top 16% in Destin means it ranks in the top 16% of tours in Destin by this score.
