About this tour

Discover Detroit’s culture, music history, architecture, and waterfront on a private Detroit Highlights Tour. Travel in a climate-controlled Executive Ford Transit Shuttle as a local Experience Host brings the Motor City’s past and present to life with engaging stories.

The route features Michigan Central, Corktown, the Detroit RiverWalk, Motown’s musical legacy, and scenic views of Belle Isle. Pause for skyline and waterfront photos, and enjoy a Detroit-themed music experience along the way. The 2–3-hour tour is private for groups of up to 14, with a flexible itinerary when possible. It offers a comfortable introduction to the city, with light walking and periodic stops to get in and out of the vehicle. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Detroit
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 33% in Detroit means it ranks in the top 33% of tours in Detroit by this score.
