About this tour

Leave the Las Vegas Strip behind and follow the road into the desert history of the American Southwest. This 9-hour Las Vegas Route 66 day tour brings together ghost-town relics, classic roadside scenery, and the character of three memorable stops.

At Nelson Ghost Town, wander among vintage cars, mining relics, and reminders of Nevada’s Old West past. Continue to Oatman, where wild burros roam the historic town streets and local shops add to its frontier feel. In Kingman, visit the Arizona Route 66 Museum to explore the story of the famous highway, then pause at Locomotive Park to see a historic steam engine. Scenic drives along iconic Route 66 stretches connect the stops, with a guide providing live commentary in English, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish.

Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with bottled water provided. The full-day outing includes walking at historic sites, including uneven ground, so comfortable shoes are recommended. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.85 from 39 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Kingman
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.3. Top 12% in Kingman means it ranks in the top 12% of tours in Kingman by this score.
