About this tour

Beverly Hills grew from open land and lima bean fields into a name recognized around the world. On this self-guided Beverly Hills audio tour, follow that transformation through the city’s glamorous streets and discover the stories behind its famous shopping district.

Begin at the Beverly Hills Sign in Garden Park and hear about the city’s surprising railroad origins. Then make your way to Rodeo Drive, once a bridle path where horses had the right of way and now an international shopping destination. Along the route, pass high-end boutiques and the Walk of Style, where bronze sidewalk plaques honor influential figures in fashion. Audio, maps, and geodata are available offline, and GPS directions help you find the starting point. Explore at your own pace with the app for Android or iOS, available in English.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.67 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Los Angeles
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
