Watch Maui’s sunset from a 42-foot powerboat, with room for six guests, snacks, and a choice of sandwich or salad.

About this tour

See Maui’s coastline glow in the evening light on a Maalaea powerboat sunset cruise aboard Amore, a 42-foot Boston Whaler 420 Outrage. With space for up to six guests, this intimate outing offers a relaxed way to take in the Pacific as the sun sinks toward the horizon.

Settle into shaded seating or stretch out on the spacious bow lounger. A SeaKeeper stabilizer helps smooth the ride, while the air-conditioned cabin offers a cool retreat. Enjoy light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, along with your choice of a BLT, grilled ham and cheese, or turkey sandwich, or a spinach salad with balsamic dressing. An onboard restroom adds comfort for the two-hour trip.

Check in at the Maalaea General Store before boarding. Bring a light jacket for the evening breeze; canned or plastic-bottled alcoholic drinks are welcome to bring along. Choose this Maalaea powerboat sunset cruise for a small-group evening on the water, with room to relax and savor Maui’s golden hour.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.85 from 20 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2.
