Take a cozy 50-minute break in Maui with adoptable rescue cats, self-serve local coffee or tea, and time to play, pet, and unwind.

About this tour

Step into a cozy island hideaway where playful rescue cats, local coffee, and herbal tea make an easygoing break from the Maui sunshine. This 50-minute Maui Cat Cafe visit offers time to unwind, meet the cats, and enjoy a welcoming space at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center.

Settle in, sip a self-serve drink, and spend time petting, playing with, or cuddling the cats. Each cat is available for adoption through a partnership with Maui Humane Society, so a relaxed visit may also introduce you to a future companion. The café provides a comfortable place to recharge, with Wi-Fi and occasional special events such as restorative cat yoga, painting, bingo, crochet, and cat movie nights.

Reserve online if you can, since reservations receive priority and space is limited; walk-ins are also accepted. Shoes are not permitted, so bring unworn socks or purchase a pair at the café. Make time for this gentle Maui Cat Cafe experience and enjoy a little feline company during your island day.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 5.00 on Viator (GetYourGuide shows no usable rating). Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.7. Top 35% in Maui means it ranks in the top 35% of tours in Maui by this score.
